In YÖK Barrier-Free University Awards 2021, 2 more faculties were granted the “Accessibility in Space” award.

Barrier-Free University Awards have been given by Higher Education Counsil (YÖK) in order to ensure that students with disabilities have access to social and cultural activities as well as educational ones. The organization aims to promote an ecosystem without barriers by providing the necessary adaptations, infrastructure and equipment. Within the scope of the awards;

As a result of the evaluation of the services, arrangements and studies carried out for disabled students in order to ensure their full, effective and equal participation in higher education, 2 more faculties – YTU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and YTU School of Foreign Languages – were deemed worthy of the “Accessibility in Space ‘Orange Flag’ Award” at the YÖK Barrier-Free University Awards 2021.
